President visits Sri Lanka development exhibition for a second day

Feb 06, Colombo: Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited 6th annual Deyata Kirula 2012 Exhibition that showcases Sri Lanka's public development schemes educating the public on the government's development programs and its objectives in the economic, social and cultural fields.

The exhibition opened at Oyamaduwa in Anuradhapura of the North Central Province on February 04 to coincide with the Independence Day celebrations has drawn a large crowd, reaching 300,000 people within a day, the Manager of the Deyata Kirula National Exhibition Ravindra Guruge said.

President Rajapaksa visited the exhibition Monday for a second day to see the exhibition stalls of the Media Ministry, Finance and Planning Ministry, Youth Affairs and Skills development and Housing, Engineering Services and Common Amenities Ministry. He also distributed bicycles to the children in areas in the diatrict where public transportation is lacking and engaged in conversations with the public and school children visiting the exhibition.

The exhibition is expected to bring rapid development to the Anuradhapura district.

Ministers Wimal Weerawansa and Ranjith Siyambalapitiya, Deputy Ministers Geethanjana Gunawardena and Duminda Dissanayake, Secretary to Finance Ministry Dr. P. B. Jayasundara and Secretary to the Media Ministry W.B. Ganegala, North Central Province Governor Karunaratne Divulgane and Chief Minister of the Province Berty Premalal Dissanayake also participated.

ජාතික කලමණාකරන ආයතනයේ 2011 වර්ෂයේ ඩිප්ලෝමා සහතික පත් හා පදක්කම් ප්‍රදානෝත්සවය ගරු යෞවන කටයුතු හා නිපුණතා සංවර්ධන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය දුමින්ද දිසානායක මැතිතුමාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් සහ මහබැංකුවේ අධිපති අජිත් නිවාඩ් කබ්රාල් මැතිතුමාගේ ගෞවරවනීය සහභාගීත්වයෙන් අද දින 2012. 01. 10 පෙරවරුවේ කොළඹ බණ්ඩාරනායක ජාත්‍යන්තර සම්මන්ත්‍රණ ශාලාවේ දී මහත් උත්සවශ්‍රීයෙන් පැවැත්විණි. මෙම අවස්ථාවේ දී ඩිප්ලෝමාධාරීන් 1870 ක් ඩිප්ලෝමා ලබා ගත් අතර, මෙය එක් වරකදී ඩිප්ලෝමා සහතික ලත් විශාලතම සංඛ්‍යාව ද වේ. යෞවන කටයුතු හා නිපුණතා සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍යාංශය යටතේ ඇති ජාතික ව්‍යාපාර කලමණාකරන ආයතනය (භෂඊඵ) විශ්ව විද්‍යාල ප්‍රතිපාදන කොමිෂන් සභාව මගින් අනුමත උපාධි ප්‍රදානය කරන ආයතනයක් ද වේ. 1968 වර්ෂයේ ආරම්භ කළ මෙම ආයතනය ශාඛා පහකින් යුත් ප්‍රමුඛ තෘතියික අධ්‍යාපන ආයතනයක් වන අතර ෂීධ 9001 - 2008 ප්‍රමිති සහතිකයෙන් ද පිදුම් ලබා ඇත. 2011 වසරේ හො`දම ව්‍යාපාරික ආයතනය මෙන්ම ඛඵෘ 2011 ප්‍රගති වාර්තාවේ දිවයිනේ විශිෂ්ටතම ව්‍යාපාර 20 අතරට ඇතුලත් කර ඇති භෂඊඵ ආයතනය අයර්ලන්තයේ ඩබිලෙන්, ඕස්ටේ්‍රලියාවේ වික්ටෝරියා, මැලේසියාවේ ලීම්කොක්වින්ක් තාක්ෂණ විශ්ව විද්‍යාල හා අනුබද්ධව දිවයිනේ ප්‍රමුඛ විශ්ව විද්‍යාලයක් බවට පත්ව ඇති අතර, 2012 වර්ෂයේදී හෝමගම ඉදිවන සිය නවතම විශ්ව විද්‍යාල පද්ධතිය භීඊඵ නමින් දැයට දායද කිරීමට සුදානම් ව සිටියි. (ඩිප්ලෝමා සහතික පත්‍ර ප්‍රදානයට සහභාගි වු ඩිප්ලෝමාධාරිණියක වෙත ගරු යෞවන කටයුතු හා නිපුණතා සංවර්ධන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යතුමා සහතික පත්‍රය පිළිගැන්වීම ජායාරූපයේ දැක්වේ. මෙම අවස්ථාවට ජාතික කලමණාකරණ ආයතනයේ අධ්‍යක‍ෂ ජනරාල් ඊ. ඒ. වීරසිංහ මහතා ද සහභාගි

ෆූජි මාරු නෞකාවේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා සම්ප්‍රාප්ති

ෆූජි මාරු මිත්‍රත්වයේ නෞකාව ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට පැමිණෙයි. නෞකාවේ අදදින :2012 - 02 - 16- පැවති ප්‍රවෘත්ති සාකච්ඡාවට ගරු දුමින්ද දිසානායක මැතිතුමා සහභාගී වූ අවස්ථාව.

The youth who arrived in the youth vessel Fujimaro met President Mahinda Rajapakse this morning.

The president held cordial discussions with them and also appeared for a group photograph. There was an exchange of gifts and the leader of the Indian group delivered a speech as well. The President requested the youth to attend the world youth conference that will be held in Sri Lanka in 2014. Minister Dallas Alahapperuma, Deputy Minister Duminda Dissanayake and the Chairman of the National Youth Service Council Lalith Piyum Perera also participated in this function.

The vessel sailed for Japan a short while ago.

සහකාර තරුණසේවා නිළධාරී පත්වීම් ප්‍රදාන

සහකාර තරුණසේවා නිළධාරී පත්වීම් ප්‍රදානය ජාතික තරුණසේවා සභාවේ සහකාර තරුණසේවා නිළධාරී පත්වීම් ප්‍රදානය පසුගියදා (2012-01-05) අමාත්‍යංශ ශ්‍රවනාගාරයේදී සිදු කෙරුණි. එහිදී ජාතික තරුණසේවා සභාවේ ඉතිහාසය තුල එක් වරකදී වැඩිම පත්වීම් ප්‍රමාණයක් ප්‍රදානය කිරීම විශේෂ සිදුවීමක් විය. මෙහිදී සහකාර තරුණසේවා නිළධාරීන් පත්වීම් 92 ක් ප්‍රදානය කෙරුණි. යෞවන සමාජ ව්‍යාපාරයේ කි්‍රයාකාරී සාමාජික සාමාජිකාවන්ට වැඩි අවස්ථාවක් ලබා දෙමින් සිදු කෙරුණු මෙම පත්වීම් ප්‍රදානයේදී ගරු නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යතුමා විසින් පත්වීම් ලාභියෙකු වෙත පත්වීම් ලිපිය ප්‍රධානය කරණ අයුරු ඡායාරූපයේ දැක්වේ.
